Toora & District Community Bank® Branch was established in January 1999 and has recently celebrated its 17th birthday. It opened when other banking services to the town were being reduced or removed, the establishment of a locally owned Community Bank® gave the whole community something to be proud of.
Toora & District Community Bank® Branch went on to open the Foster branch in October 2007 and thanks to the loyal customers of these two branches close to $700,000 has been invested back into the local community in grants, sponsorships, scholarships & donations.
Toora & District Community Bank® Branch and Foster branch have recently contributed $60,000 to assist with the building of a new Aged Care facility in Foster and $24,000 to support Youth Assist, a free medical clinic for our local youth. The Welshpool Agency has since been opened in 2016 which even further demonstrates the strength and support of our local community
