Ecology Cafe at the Discovery Centre

The iconic Toolangi Forest Discovery Centre Building sat unused amongst the towering gums of the Toolangi forest. Now after years of campaigning from dedicated locals the doors have re-opened.

Run by locals Mark Ebbels and Wirrun Sky with the support of their partners and the Toolangi community, the Pop-Up Cafe is open to help promote the re-opening of the Discovery Centre.

With enough support we hope our Pop-Up Cafe can metamorphosize into something more permanent so we can continue to serve yummy food and drinks into the future.

Our aim is to provide a meeting place for locals, a destination for visitors and to showcase Australian bush foods and local produce of the Kinglake Ranges and Yarra Valley.
