Thornbury local open mic

Open Mic at the Thornbury Local is a friendly entertaining environment for Artists and Audiences alike.
Each week we have a whole range of artists from humble beginners to seasoned professionals, with some interesting surprises thrown in every now and then.

Artists, there are simple rules.
Sign up list at 7.30PM - get in quick.
Your set is 3 songs or 15 minutes - Which ever comes first.

This time limit has to include your set up time, so whilst we will assist you and make every effort to get you set up quickly, keep this in mind before you bring a 19 piece band.

Play us your new songs. Or some that you've re-worked. Maybe recite us your new poems. Or maybe come and share with us your first ever performance on a stage. We'd Love to have you.
Comedy is also welcome.

You may only play a 4th song, if the host requests or offers the chance for a 4th song. If you start a 4th song without being requested to do so, you will be turned off, but still loved.

It would also be super nice if you spent some time watching the other artists who are giving it a crack.
