Theatre of the Small Continent

Theatre of the Small Continent is a brand new theatre company with a social change agenda. With human rights principles at its heart, Small Continent seeks to create awareness about issues of inequality and injustice through stories, laughter and entertainment.

The Small Continent team are early-career practitioners who are intent on achieving their vision through experimentation and exploration of theatrical form and process. We work without scripts and develop our shows through collaborative improvisation and research. We are interested in other forms of art and popular entertainment. We are committed to the narrative arc, but are fascinated by diverse forms of story-telling. In the future we hope to appeal to non-traditional audiences in non-traditional forums. Our goal is to refine our process so we can immediately respond to current events.

We have big dreams, but we're just starting out. We hope you will bear with us as we experiment and test ideas.
