GARDENS - Enjoy meandering through our gardens where you will discover over 150 mosaics - sculptures, monoliths, a solar powered fountain, birdbaths, an enchanted mushroom forest, and a wonderland of mosaic frogs, snails and more.
Ideal for adults and children to discover and enjoy.
Rest on mosaic lounges and chairs, interact with our Dr. Who sculptures, walk through the gardens on paths made with over 125 mosaic stepping stones.
View framed mosaic art works in a working studio.
Watch and talk with mosaic artists while they create their own pieces and learn about our classes available Wed 9am - 12, thurs 9am - 12, Friday group bookings 6+ students, Sat 1-4pm

THE STUDIO
The Studio of Mosaic Art is located at 25 Adelaide Road, Strathalbyn, South Australia, Australia. Strathalbyn is approximately 45 minutes south-east of Adelaide

The Studio, built in 2003, is a modern building filled with old world character and charm, made possible by the use of recycled materials and built amongst a country setting.

Full bull-nose verandahs surround the building. Turned posts frame the view out to the pleasant gardens, with works of mosaic by the resident artist and several students being dotted throughout the foliage.

Inside you are greeted by large expanses of walls, clad in horizontal corrugated iron. The walls have upon them, many and varied mosaics. This serves as colour and inspiration to students.

The floors are mosaic in slate. Large amounts of natural light flood through the studio. The mosaics however don't stop there. The bathroom for instance, consists of mosaic floors and walls, the inspiration and creativity never stops.

The Studio overall is bright, airy and full of atmosphere. It serves as a great place to learn this ancient art form, which has endless possibilities.
