In December 2009 Brendan Byrne took on the project that is the Shaws Bay Hotel. This has seen massive renovations throughout the hotel, from the front gate down to the waters edge. Always a popular local venue and known for its friendly relaxed atmosphere, the recent refurbishment has revived the old hotel giving it a new lease on life. With the focus now on creating a family friendly dining experience, so as to make the most of its unique location, the Shawsy will now appeal to and cater for a greaer range of people.
