The Rockstar Bar team have globe-trotted the world and seen the best of the best. After spending over 30 years in the music industry as musicians, promoters, technicians and punters, The Rockstar Bar idea began to develop. The seed was planted for bringing a venue of this quality to Melbourne.

With a well-stocked bar, and wall-to-wall music memorabilia, The RockStar Bar is a true feast for the music buff and rock historians out there. The venue boasts a visually spectacular, quality sound and state-of-the art light show, along with a fantastic, dedicated team of staff, who genuinely want you to feel comfortable upon entry and to soak up the atmosphere and vibe. Equally as importantly, The RockStar Bar considers the performers as well, with artist’s personal space well catered for – a green room guaranteed to rival any other, easy access, privacy and ample space. Our ethos is focused firmly on bringing the best of national and local acts to Melbourne's often neglected South-East region.

The RockStar Bar has a retro feel taking you back to the classic days of The Rainbow, the Whisky Au-go-go and Studio 54 while merging with modern sound and production techniques. The ambience promises to create a space for lovers of rock music to call their own.

Whilst initially concentrating on a diverse musical roster, The Rockstar Bar will also expand to incorporate all elements of the arts - from music workshops and clinics to film nights and art shows. The Rockstar Bar will also be available for private function hire.

The ROCKSTAR BAR will be opening its doors with a massive launch party on MAY 7 and will soon grow to implant itself firmly as an iconic part of the musical landscape of Melbourne and the nation.
