The Pondering Frog

The Pondering Frog is a newly established business on the East Coast of Tasmania. Its mission is to supply high quality information , service and product to the travelling public on the East Coast of Tasmania.
Since opening the gate in July 2014 the owners Lester and Collette have developed what was a shed in a paddock selling ice cream and smoothies out of the kitchen, to a vibrant place to stop, relax in a garden setting, with a children’s playground and enjoy a light snack, tea or coffee or just an ice cream. As the gate way to the National park it is becoming known as the place to go for a personalised itinerary to enjoy the gems of the East Coast Drive.. Open 7 days from 8am – 7 pm in summertime , The Pondering Frog caters for the late leavers from the Freycinet National Park. Winter trading is 9am to 5pm.
