The first two storey timber hotel was built by Mr Hinneberg in 1877 and was destroyed by fire in1891. in 1892, a Mr. Scheele, the new owner, rebuilt the hotel from brick and it was that year The National Hotel - Natimuk was first established.
Recently under new Management, a business family run, the Hotel is obviously family and child friendly, and just like the community has a friendly welcoming atmosphere, something we strive to maintain. And accomodation is available.
Nearby is the iconic Mt. Arapiles, renoun for its beautiful views, flora and fauna and also advanced rock climbing. Also with thanks to the recent floods of February 2011, the Natimuk Lake is now full after over a decade of being dried out, and is a sight to see!!
So whether you fancy a meal, a drink or a chat come on over Natimuk and pop on into the Nati pub!
