THE OUTBACK

Albury Cattle Poperty is located 50 kms south of Mungallala. Where do you ask again... Well let us tell you, it is 8 hours west of Brisbane. Albury is a 26000 hectares or in imperial 72000 acres running beef cattle.

How it works...

We offer a pick up service at Mungallala Bus Station. With this we take a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 4 people per booking. The minimum night per stay are 3 nights. The price for two people is $60,- per person per night, the price for three or more is $50,- per person per night.

The other possibility is to drive yourself to the farm. The minimum of nights will be 3 nights and the price is $50,- per person per night.

Possible days are to arrive on Monday and leave on Thursday or arrive on Tuesday and leave on Friday. Other days depends on availability.

During your stay are all meals included (continental breakfast, flash sandwiches for lunch, 2 course meal for dinner, smokos offered). Please notify of any allergies. Gluten free and vegetarian upon request.

B.Y.O.G! As we say in OZ. Bring Your Own Grog, stick it in the fridge, enjoy a cool ‘stubby’ on the veranda... but not too many stubbies!

Guest Access
Guests will share the family’s kitchen, lounge room, dining room, as well as the veranda. There is a shaded parking place available.

Interaction with the guests
We will be happy to show you around our property, if it is convenient, or leave you in peace. All our meals can be shared unless you request otherwise.

The neighbourhood
Since the closest town, Mungallala, with limited facilities, is 50 km away. You’ll be mostly spending your time at Albury itself.
You are also welcome to join in any work related activities, play tennis on our court or simply have a relaxing day on the veranda.

Other things to note
Albury is an operating cattle property, please be mindful of all stock, and leave gates as you find them. Please remember that this is a remote location, mobile reception will be very limited however there is contact via landline and email.
No smoking in the house/rooms please, there is plenty of space to smoke outside.
