Hi my name is Riordan King… creator of The Meditation Project! A project designed to bring meditation, mindfulness and movement practices and ancient wisdom, spirituality and philosophy to the modern world, emphasizing bringing more practice into things over anything else!

I’ve been teaching meditation, movement and mindfulness for 3 years and 4 months now, and have taught hundreds of people in and around Adelaide as well as interstate. I’ve also been working 1 on 1 with clients as a hypnotherapist and energy medicine practitioner to help bring about more peace, balance, focus, health and stability with each individual I work with.

My core goal for the meditation project is to share mindfulness meditation, practical psychology, spirituality, emotional intelligence and the basics of self care, physical health, mindful movement and wellbeing, with as many people in the western world as possible, to bring about more care, compassion, health, balance and self-awareness to our busy, overworked, sometimes harsh and unkind world. We could all use a bit more peace, patience, presence, balance and health, to create true joy, happiness and fulfilment in life.

Nothing impacted me more than the state of happiness and clarity I achieved during my first 10-day silent meditation retreat in Japan, 2014. I knew half way through that retreat that meditation was one of the core solutions to the problems we see around the world that affect all people, and science is definitely backing me up. All problems begin first as thoughts in the mind, so naturally we need to get educated about how it works.

Meditation provided me with the clearest understanding and experience of happiness I’d ever achieved up until that point in my life… and it only grew from there. The funny and ironic thing, considering our extremely active and busy lifestyle here in the West, is that my happiness and fulfilment came from sitting still, calming my mind and body, and entering into a state of calm, relaxed, peaceful awareness and stillness. I couldn’t believe the results.

Since then I’ve taken people through workshops, 7 and 8 week courses, full-day events, smaller group sessions and private one on one sessions and now I am running the most holistic, well-rounded meditation, mindfulness and spiritual psychology program I have ever created. It is epic, affordable and time-effective, simple, naturally unfolding, and has the potential with not much more than 20 minutes per day, to beneficially transform both your mind, body and life, permanently and forever.
