The Lighthouse Cottage - Port Fairy Accommodation

We have a a spacious, modern room with double bed and private bathroom looking out on to our apple tree court yard at the rear of our seaside cottage. The kitchen, lounge and dining space are shared with us and we would like guests to use these spaces as they please, make themselves at home.

The house is located about 3 minutes walk form the beautiful Pea-soup cove of Port Fairy where you may swim or if feeling adventurous snorkel in the clear waters. Our cottage is a quick 20 minute walk from the historic town centre of Port Fairy where you will find many fine cafes, pubs, restaurants and a handful of clothing shops. The popular swimming and surfing beach is located over the river Moyne and a further 10 minutes walk from the town centre.

Our neighbourhood is very quiet and very close to the beach where sunset walks can be enjoyed especially to the nearby Griffiths island, home to the shearwater colony and the iconic Port Fairy lighthouse, or the mouth of the river Moyne and South Beach sand dunes.

There is a regular bus service from the nearby city of Warrnambool that stops on Powling Street around the corner from our cottage.

We offer a cosy, warm, homely cottage with a beautiful garden and surrounding area that can be enjoyed on the sunny secluded deck or relax on the veranda at the front of our cottage.

Both Sally and I are seasoned travellers and have used Air Bnb in Australia and abroad so we know how it feels to be welcomed in to someone's home.
