We'reinspired by the power that African music and rhythm holds as a tool to educate, engage and connect people from all walks of life. Since 2012 we have been crossing the country educating young people, facilitating team building, bringing communities together and inspiring leadership.

Based in Melbourne and founded by award-winning musician and educator Lamine Sonko, The Knowing Project was built on the belief that music is a universal language that we all understand. It has the ability to break down barriers, expand our horizons and teach people how to relate to each other. It's also the quickest path to an uplifting and energizing group experience!

From day one it has been our mission to share culture, stories, rhythm and dance across the education, business, social and community sectors, we aim to enthuse and engage people across Australia enabling creative collective action.
