We love this word! Ancient, and consisting of the English word for one of the most divine creatures sharing our Earth, combined with HU-MAN, a variant of humane, with our Old-English verb "Shape"; now "Ship." The suffix "Ship" denotes quality and skill. In Old English the word comes from "Shape" - TO CREATE!

It has been said there are two kinds of people in the World - Those who love horses, and the other kind.
Our team are horse-lovers, and believe that horses have much more to offer humans than they have been used for, these past 10,000 years.

We believe horses enhance humans, offer us EVERYTHING we may ever need to know to reveal ENLIGHTENMENT.

Jayne Lavender has been teaching people much of her life. Jayne combined her passion for teaching with her passion for horses nearly two decades ago, and has always named what she does HORSEMANSHIP.

When Jayne began teaching people, she had been taught to teach horses how to break. People who admire horses want the horse to be different to how they really are. As Jayne worked with horses day after day, she came to understand their nature, and began to change the way she interacted with both horses and humans.

Jayne became a spokesperson for horses, learned to understand their VOICE, became an INTERPRETER for horses. All of Jayne's experience teaching humans, and perpetually seeking wisdom,
enables Jayne to teach a PROGRESSIVE form of Horsemanship to ANYONE - attracting "the other kind" of person towards the benefits a horse-human relationship offers, too.

Jayne believes there are SECRETS at the HEART of Horsemanship. Secrets everyone is entitled to experience, every horse deserves US to understand. AT the HEART of Horsemanship is UNDERSTANDING Appreciation, Compassion, Creativity, Emotion, Intent and Love.
