The birthplace of Bendigo... Before the booming gold rush of the late 1800's, what is now Bendigo city was a sheep station 'Ravenswood Run' originally expanded over a vast 118,000 acres. Gold was first discovered on the property which ultimately led to Bendigo becoming one of the richest towns in the world, as gold was mined in tonnes with immigrants migrating to the district from all over the world to find their fortune.
Currently operating a bed and breakfast, previously listed in the top 100 in Australia, Ravenswood B & B set on picturesque 35 acres, is now a sought after wedding and function destination accommodating up to 48 guests.
