As far back as 1979 Mr Tarsem & Mrs Harbans Sihota started growing flowers at their Birkdale residence (Bailey Rd). They established The Flower Farm in 1981 on the corner of what was a single carriageway Birkdale Road and a rocky unsealed Byng Road. Together four with their children, Mr & Mrs Sihota continue to have an active role in the business whilst enjoying their farming lifestyle with grandkids over the iconic Birkdale property. The Flower Farm grow and sell their flowers direct to the public.
