COMMUNITY GUIDELINES:

The Ethics Centre serves as a catalyst and enabler for society to think, debate and act in good conscience. We want to provide a safe space for people to talk about the issues that really matter and encourage healthy debate. With that in mind, we’ve created the following guidelines to keep the conversation on track.

Be respectful
It’s likely you will come across opinions you disagree with – this is the sign of a healthy debate. We're here to discuss ideas, not the individuals behind them. No opinion is invalid. Treat others with the respect you'd like to receive.

We'll delete personal attacks, all forms of discrimination (or posts that could be interpreted as such), persistent trolling, mindless abuse, posts we believe exist only to provoke or mislead, and, of course, spam.

Be proactive
Take some responsibility for the quality of the conversations in which you’re participating. Help make this a place for intelligent discussion.

What we'll do
We reserve the right to remove comments that breach these standards and lock accounts of commenters who breach them repeatedly. We take a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination.
