THE BOWER Reuse & Repair Centre

The Bower is a resource centre for sustainable living. We take donations of pre-loved goods and keep them out of landfill by reselling them to the local community at affordable prices. Our free Collection & Rehoming Service will collect from 21 council regions across Sydney and we can refer you to other organisations to help you with items we can't take directly. Our 'tricks of the trade' workshops teach you how to repair and restore furniture, learn basic carpentry and introductory upholstery techniques. Our free Repair Cafes run every Wednesday from 1pm - 4pm at Marrickville and the last Saturday of the month at Parramatta 10am - 12pm. At the Repair Cafe we provide advice and assistance in fixing small electricals, timber furniture and bicycles.
