The Black Stump Bistro was opened in October 2013 by local chef Jim McDougall and publican Liam Wood. A departure from the everyday Aussie bistro, it serves simple, classic dishes influenced by Australian, American and European cooking styles.
The design of the dining room reflects the history of the 120-year old Mildura Settlers Club, with its vintage blue chairs, candelabras, and old photos and memorabilia recovered from the building’s cellar.
