The Davies' Butchery has been a feature of Gulgong for over 70 years and today the same family owns and operates the business, not too much differently from when Grandfather Vin Davies nicknamed "Cod" started the business, Terry did his butchery apprenticeship along with "Cod" and his dad Bill. Terry today still chops the meat instead of sawing it, yep its the old fashioned way and the meat stays fresher longer. So good to be able to buy local meat, prepared and cut locally.
