TEANY

TEANY is a new professional hair and skin care range for kids, currently consisting of a Two In One Shampoo & Conditioner and a Body Wash. Created in Australia by Joanne Scott, a mother of two who has worked within the hair industry for over 20yrs, TEANY was born to create a beautiful “non toxic” product range for kids that uses the same philosophy of professional hair and skin care products used within salons.
Careful consideration and development has gone into TEANY’s product formulations, ensuring it is safe to use on young delicate skin by including natural plant based ingredients, such as rosemary oil, sage oil, green tea leaf extract and vitamin B5. This natural combination of ingredients leaves your child’s hair and skin feeling soft and nourished. Our products are proudly SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) and paraben free, and have a pH range of 4.5 & 5, which for children is the perfect ‘natural’ pH range of the skin.

Why TEANY was born!
After working in the hair industry for more 20 years, my life took a little turn into motherhood making me a proud mum of two awesome little kids. Though out this amazing and challenging journey I have owned my own salon, coloured hair for professional photography shoots and magazines and travelled the world teaching hair colouring techniques.
Since having children I have become aware of what I put on my family’s skin, particularly as both my children have sensitive skin. I could never find what I wanted when it came to hair and skin care products, in terms of both the product results and what was actually incorporated in the ingredients listing. Many products say “no nasties” on the label, but don’t explain any further than that. As a mum not being able to find the right product in the market, I decided to create my own hair and skin care range for kids, and so TEANY was born!
