Rich in character and an integral part of Queensland’s pastoral heritage Taromeo, established by Scottish migrant Simon Scott in 1842 and still operational today, has been restored over the years to its former glory and for the benefit of the South Burnett history and heritage. It has been listed by the National Trust and registered with the Australian Heritage Commission.
Please note that Taromeo is still a working cattle property and thus Private Property. Trespassing onto the property is prohibited. Inspection is strictly by appointment only and can be made through the Property Manager.
