More about Tanilba Bay Tyres & Mechanical

Tanilba Bay Tyre Service is located on the Tilligerry Peninsula in the beautiful Port Stephens, about 40 minutes north of Newcastle NSW.

Tanilba Bay Tyre Service is the only dedicated tyre service on the Tilligerry Peninsula, we are also the longest serving tyre service having been in this beautiful town for over 35 years running.

Of course it's had it share of owner's over the years, like most reputable business's out there. Tanilba Bay Tyre Service is currently owned by and operated by 22 year old local, Stephen Bree.

Stephen has been in the tyre fitting industry for the past 8 years with the same company which he now operates today. Starting his career whilst still attending school, and with the previous owner Kelvin Blacktop to teach him the way, Stephen found great pride in serving the local's & the community in servicing their every tyre need.

Still to this day Stephens attitude has not changed, "I bought this shop with the intention's of providing the best possible service, not to just a handful but to every customer & at the best possible prices with a tyre that performs to the customers everyday need".

Tanilba Bay Tyre Service has recently been signed on with Hankook Tyres Australia as a 'Silver Master Dealer'.

"Hankook Tyre is the world's 7th largest and fastest growing tyre manufacturer for radial tyres for passenger cars, light trucks (SUVs, RVs, and etc.), trucks, and buses.

Hankook Tyre also develops cutting-edge technologies to upgrade customer satisfaction through high-quality products.

Hankook Tyre sells to 185 countries around the world.

The company has more than 14,000 employees in 4 Regional HQs, over 20 overseas subsidiaries and 5 R&D Centres around the world and makes 70% of revenue through overseas markets.

Hankook Tyres in 2015 plan to be the 5th largest tyre company in the world, overtaking the likes of Pirelli & Dunlop."

And this is why we at Tanilba Bay Tyre Service believe that with the support of this Company (Hankook) and the continued support of our already loyal customer base, we can continue to provide you with the right tyre to keep you headin' in the right direction.
