The Ribbon Reefs form along the edge of the continental shelf where the conditions are ideal for the Great Barrier Reef to really show off its beauty.
This almost continuous barrier is only broken by narrow passages between the individual reef formations. These reefs are rarely explored and the areas we visit see little to no human activity. We make it our ambition to take you to the most pristine dive and snorkel locations accessible north from Cairns, on the Great Barrier Reef.
In the early 1970's Ron and Valerie Taylor, two pioneering underwater cinematographers and active marine conservationists brought the Cod Hole to the worlds attention. Their actions provided protection and sanctuary to a local family of large, friendly, Potato Cod Epinephelus tukula. Immerse yourself in their world hidden amongst Ribbon Reef No.10's pristine coral formations.
