We’re here 52 weeks a year and that means we have plenty of time to spend nurturing your little ones and supporting them through their developmental milestones.

As we are not part of a larger chain, we answer to our families, not to shareholders. Taigum Child Edu-Care Centre’s owner, Daphne plays a hands-on role in the day-to-day activities of the centre and ensures the staff and children have all the resources they need.

Our staff are highly skilled and most have been with us for at least five years. All are over 18 and either have completed, or are completing, tertiary study in early childhood education. They offer a loving, nurturing environment that provides the stability your little ones need to thrive in their most formative years.


CARING AND LEARNING
Choosing a care provider is one of the most difficult decisions parents face in the early years. We believe child care is a lot more complex than changing nappies, feeding children and babysitting.

Children have an enormous capacity to learn in the first few years of life, but they also need a lot of care. That’s why we embed educational opportunities in the caregiving function, just like you do at home.

Children are natural learners – they don’t only require direct instruction from adults to learn. But it helps that we have highly qualified staff and an environment that focuses on choice, flexibility and individual expression while still enforcing acceptable social skills within a safe, hygienic setting.
