I have been a qualified Library Technician specialising in Audio Visual Technologies for over thirty years.
Working within the education sector in libraries for the past three decades has been one of constant change, innovation, technological advances and restructuring.
Customer service and public relations skills have been key components to my working life. I value these skills highly and I also deem them crucial for providing high-quality celebrancy services. As a celebrant, I am honoured to conduct ceremonies for others during their most memorable and deeply personal celebrations.
Why I'm a celebrant
I have always been a ‘people’ person. I have always found the stories that make up a person’s or a couple’s journey through life interesting and emotive. The role of Celebrant provides me with the opportunity to share these life stories and celebrations in a meaningful way.
I am honoured and humbled to share the emotional events that make up a person’s life. Be it a wedding, a funeral, a life celebration memorial, a beloved animal’s farewell, a renewal of vows or a life commitment ceremony. Every ceremony is personal and every story is unique.
The sense of occasion and ritual are deeply important to me and I trust my ceremonies will reflect that back to my clients, their families and friends.
