The desire to create this group came out of my complete horror at witnessing the incident of a beautiful female skydiver get terribly injured in a canopy landing incident. This incident had a deep and marked influence on me. It really got me thinking about what is going on out there in canopy land. This event was tragically followed up by the death of another amazing skydiving woman due to a canopy incident a few weeks later.

I truly believe this is a strong wake up call to all canopy pilots out there. But a strong call to action to help all female skydivers. Whether you are just off your AFF course, wanting downsizing advice, or wanting to rub shoulders with the best of them and swoop like a freekin female legend. My goal is to put it all here, and have a thriving community of kick ass female girls, being safe, looking out for each other and spreading the love and knowledge.

I am based in beautiful Far North Queensland and run the skydiving club, Far North Freefall. I plan to start running female canopy courses for all levels of canopy pilots, because there is NOTHING more important than making sure you are safe to live and jump another day with zero injuries.

I plan on an event held at the awesome Tully dropzone 15th and 16th October 2016. So put this date down in your calendars.
