Swansea Fire Station 447

Swansea Fire Station is located in the suburb of Swansea in Lake Macquarie south of Newcastle. It is staffed by a Captain, Deputy Captain and 10 Retained Firefighters. The Station is classed as a stand alone Fire Station being the only Fire & Rescue NSW (FRNSW) station located south of Swansea bridge in the city of Lake Macquarie.

Swansea Fire Station responds to around 200 incidents per year and is responsible for the fire protection of Swansea, Caves Beach, Swansea Heads, Pelican & Blacksmiths. The station participates in various and regular community & fire education days throughout the year.

Swansea Fire Station is currently recruiting to fill 2 retained positions, however there are 2 supernumery firefighter positions available also.
