SURFCOACH fills the gap by working together with our Local Council Programs, Gold Coast Lifeguard Service and Surf Lifesaving Clubs. To provide Lifesaving skills with Education low risk Flood Water Rescue & Surf Survival
Techniques to the community.

Athlete development coaching in all Surf Disciplines.

Gold Coast City Council Lifeguard Service are our Permanent Professional Lifeguards and Patrol our Beaches all year around, they wear the Blue and White Uniforms.

LIFEGUARD VEHICLE: WHITE Lifeguard Vehicle. This car contains Vital Lifesaving Equipment First Aid, co2 Oxygen, Defibrillator and rescue equipment.

History of Surfcoach Involvement Internationally JAPAN Kamakura and Kanagawa Gold Coast City Council Lifeguards are involved with International Lifeguard Exchange programs. Currently we have Lifeguards from Kamakura and Kanagawa come to Australia to obtain lifeguard Skills. Gold Coast City Council were invited to help training needs analysis and skills instruction on the current lifeguards working on Japanese beaches. Coaching Japanese lifeguards the benefit of board skills, rescue procedures

DUBAI Jumeira Beach United Arab Emirates. GCCC Lifeguards were invited to do the same and work with Lifeguards in DUBAI on Jumeira Beaches over a 4 week period. The Australian Lifeguards enjoyed their stay in the old city and were treated with excellent guidance by local Dubai officers. The staffs at local beaches were very welcoming and shared their traditional warm tea with us.

2013 SURFCOACH: Lifeguard Stuart Keay a Professional APOLA Australian Professional Lifeguard was invited to Malaysia to train the Air Asia Airline Staff Water Survival skills.
