As of the 1st December 2015 all new and EXISTING pools MUST comply with latest Queensland Legislation.

Surf City offers two types of inspections:

1) The Certificate Inspection - This is the full inspection carried out in accordance with the requirements of the legislation. If your pool is compliant at the end of the inspection you will be issued with a certificate. This certificate is required when you buy/sell a house and when you have tenants.

2) Consultation Inspection - This is a basic service that we offer to help you, the pool owner, to know if there are any nonconforming items with your pool or spa - the “compliance checkup” - and to understand what you need to do to be compliant to meet the current regulations that came into force for existing pools as of 1 December 2015.
