Sunshine Meats

Since launching Sunshine Meats in 1988 as a small butcher shop in Redfern, owner Joe Pereira had a vision to create a range of smallgoods unique to the Australian market. Joe used his Portuguese heritage to develop a range of gourmet smallgoods which now includes the famous Double Smoked Chilli Chicken Breast and its companions, Lemon Pepper, Portuguese and Mild Smoked Chicken Breast, turkey products including smoked and oven roast turkey breast, hams, bacon and speck, Portuguese salami, coppa, and chorizo, chicken chorizo, black pudding, farinheira, smoked beef and gourmet sausages.
The Chilli Chicken Breast was the first product of its kind to combine two whole double chicken breasts flavoured with Joe’s unique combination of spices and double smoked using natural wood chips.
Available through a network of distributors, Sunshine Meats products can be found at delicatessens, supermarkets and specialty stores across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
