Sue Murphy Pty Ltd has been providing Supervised Contact and Transport solely to now known Department of Family and Community Services in the Hunter Regions. The areas we cover are including but not limited to Cessnock, Maitland, Singleton, Dungog, Muswellbrook, Upper Hunter, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens for the past 15 years and more recently in 2015 to the New England Area.

Due to the demand and long waiting lists for Supervised Contact through the Family Courts and funded agencies we are excited to be expanding and offering our services to the general public for either short or long term and on a fee for service basis.

Our Company offers an enormous amount of experience as our company’s only cliental up until now have been the state’s most vulnerable children, children who have been placed into foster care.

Sue Murphy Pty Ltd Contact Supervisors have a variation of additional qualifications including but not limited Cert IV in Children’s Services, Cert III in Children’s Services, Cert III in Child Studies, Mental Health First Aid, Education Support – Teachers Aide, Alcohol & Other Drugs, St John’s First Aid, Departmental Foster Carers as well as a combined 70 years experience in supervised contacts and transports. All staff provides a professional written and accurate report for each supervised contact/transport.

Supervised Contact visits are arranged on a strictly observational basis with no involvement from the supervisor other than to ensure the safety of our client, the child or young person. We are committed to children and young people using our service to be supported and aim for positive contact visits under our supervision.

To keep contacts familiar and natural for children Sue Murphy Pty Ltd supervise contacts at locations as agreed by both parties and deemed safe and age appropriate by Sue Murphy Pty Ltd or as directed by the court. We do not restrict contacts to a contact room and we also offer our service 7 days a week. We endeavour to provide flexibility and ensure reliability to all parties involved.

Comprehensive written contact reports regarding the presentation of contact participants, the activities and interactions, and reactions on arrival and departures between the child or young person and the parent or significant other are written for each contact.

Sue Murphy Pty Ltd is unique in that we have only ever provided supervised contacts and transport and have not expanded into other care services. This is our specialty!
