Styne Ashton better know for his 30 years of touring Australia and Overseas with his Blues Brothers Revival Band returns with his popular band Stynes Legends after taking a break from the local music scene. It’s a brand new band featuring members of The Blues Brothers Revival Band and Sugartrain, rocking audiences with a range of 80’s hits that will keep the dance floor full.
In usual Styne fashion the sounds of the 80’s will be reproduced as exactly as possible. The 4 piece band is unique as it comes with the advantage of full keyboard sequence and electronic drum kit, giving the songs the authentic sounds of the era, professionally delivering a real 80’s experience.
With that comes the fashion, the hair (or now days lack of), acid wash jeans, leathers, studs and bandanas. The look and songs that made the 80’s come alive and live on today are featured. Songs range from ‘I Ran’ by Flock of Seagulls to Springsteens Dancing in the Dark. The old crowd pleasers ‘You shook me all night long’ and ‘Sweet Child o mine’ are of course still there for the right audience.
Stynes Legends Retro Rock Show guarantees to take the audience back to their youth or introduce a whole new audience to the songs from the best decade of music since the 50’s.
