The Sturt State Emergency Service Unit comprises volunteers who provide a rescue service dedicated to protecting lives and property primarily in our local community, but across South Australia and interstate as required.
The Sturt SES Unit operates with approximately 40 - 50 volunteer members and we encourage both male and female persons over 18 years of age to join us.
Each year Sturt SES Unit responds to about 600 taskings, undertaking a wide range of rescue situations.
