Studio 1618

Studio 1618 is a home project studio which aims to bridge the gap between professional quality recordings and home recording to create an affordable, comfortable and professional recording experience. I specialise in heavy metal, metalcore, death metal, hardcore and any other metal sub-genre as well as rock and hard rock styles.

It is a fully equipped studio with a full 32 channel Mackie console (the actual console that Savage Garden tracked songs on) as well as top of the line mics, guitar amps, cabs and drum gear. (See gear list for more information)

I'm in the final year of studying a bachelor of communications majoring in sound production and am looking to start working on a portfolio. I have been producing⁄recording music for 4+ years and have been playing guitar for 7 years.
I have already produced local bands such as: Chromatide (Salvation E.P, Machines Single, Dogs Of War Single, Conscious Single), As The Empire Burns E.P (Taree), All Hope Is Gone (Full Album), Smacked Youth (Hole Single) . . .

What sets Studio 1618 apart?
I'm not looking to replace expensive, top of the line studios, but am aiming to make great quality recordings for a price that is achievable for new bands, older bands and songwriters alike who cant afford to pay $400-500 a song at other home studios (let alone professional studios which cost in the thousands).
I have top of the line gear, extensive knowledge in audio production and am determined to get into the audio production industry.

Where there is no limit to the amount of songs you can record. Record a single or as many songs as you can! Also ask for package deals for an E.P (4-5 tracks).This will include a mix and master of the song(s).
