STREET KANVAS is an inception of DEBBY SUGGATE whom is a self-taught, visual artist.

DEBBY has been creating works of art from a very young age, using a broad range of materials and mediums.
She is versatile in styles and design; and in recent times, honing and excelling in urban / street style art.

ARTISTIC JOURNEY, TO DATE:
- Commissioned artwork for overseas clients
- Exhibited and commissioned pieces appearing in cafes, restaurants and hotels across Adelaide, SA
- Creating visual artwork for both private and commercial clients
- Running art workshops based around special needs and youth within the community
- Group and solo exhibitions

DEBBY has been suffering from Parkinson's Disease since the age of 27.
Being diagnosed with PD has had a massive impact on her everyday life. As a result, DEBBY's passion for the Arts has been ignited; giving her the gift to grow as an artist, providing a new outlook on life, and an inspiration to create.

STREET KANVAS, together with other organisations, are currently working together to launch an exhibition raising awareness for Parkinson's Disease. This collaboration is sourcing and inviting artists, suffering from Parkinson's Disease and/or other movement disorders, to participate and display their artworks; bringing the community together; embracing diversity, social inclusion; and providing education and understanding of the disorder.
