Stratford Fire Brigade

Stratford is situated approximately 18kms east of Sale on the Princes Highway. The brigade responds to a large range of emergencies from House fires & Wildfires to Motor Vehicle Accidents and Hazmat Incidents.

The station on the corner of McFarlane and Hobson St houses 5 firefighting appliances: Stratford Pumper, Stratford Tanker, Stratford FCV and out 2 Group vehicles the Avon Tanker and Avon Ultralight

Our Brigade performs many different roles which include fire prevention / suppression, community awareness, Brigades In Schools, fundraising, ongoing training and upskilling of members and attendance at public events.

SFB falls within District 10 of the Authority's Gippsland Region. It is part of the Avon Group of Fire brigades, Avon group consists of the Stratford, Briagolong, Munro, Perry Bridge, Dargo, Meerleiu and Clydebank Fire Briades
