Stoney Creek Rural Fire Brigade QLD

Our brigade meets quarterly at the fire station in Wilks Rd, Stoney Creek, usually on the last Saturday evening in February, May, August and November at 1930hrs (7:30 pm). Supper and social interaction occurs at the close of each meeting and we welcome visitors. Training is held on the last Sunday morning of each month from around 1000 hrs (10:00 am), usually ending with a sausage sizzle lunch.

Our annual Christmas Party is held at our fire station for members, local residents and landholders and is always well attended and a lot of fun. Brigade members assist Santa not to run his sleigh over any kids on his visit to the Woodford Lion’s Street Carnival each year. Our volunteers actively assist the local RSL branch to manage traffic and the street march each Anzac Day, and our members can often be seen at local venues participating in fund raising activities or guiding show patrons to suitable parking spaces.

The annual newsletter we produce always receives good reviews and the contributions therein are all from local folk.
