Stonehill Retreat is set at the gateway to the picturesque Yarra Valley and only a 50 minute drive away from the CBD and Melbourne Airport, a perfect escape for those looking to get away from their busy lifestyles and enjoy a country experience.
There is an abundance of things to do in the scenic Yarra Valley, be it touring local wineries, bushwalking, cycling or visit Kinglake national Park, or a drive to Yarra Valley Chocolatier in Yarra Glen or further on to all Healesville has to offer. Stonehill Retreat is also a wonderful place to just sit back and relax, taking in the beautiful surrounds and abundance of wildlife.

Stonehill Retreat is a new and unique luxury 2 bedroom retreat that accommodates four people, set on 20 acres of private bushland, just a five minute drive from either Hurstbridge or St Andrews. The recently built premises boasts floor to ceiling windows in each bedroom and lounge area, with stained customized glass throughout, allowing immersion in the beautiful surrounding garden and bush land. Magnificent stained glass window panels designed by local St Andrews artist Robert Hayley are an amazing welcoming feature as you first drive into the private garage to the building.
A warm and inviting open plan lounge, kitchen and dinning area overlooks the natural bushland and property dams. There is a large smart TV for your viewing and Foxtel connected. The lounge has a large Jet master fire place and all rooms have split system heating and cooling.
The central bathroom has floor heating and all linen, towels, bathrobes and toiletries are provided.
Each bedroom is equipped with a kings size beds and electric blankets for those chillier evenings.
The kitchen is fully equipped for you to cook from the breakfast hamper provided at your leisure, or if the mood takes you, a visit to the colourful St Andrews Market on a Saturday (open from 6am to 2pm) can provide you with an abundance of flavors or Free Range and Organic produce. A cooked or continental breakfast can also be arranged from your health conscious host Jacqui, by request at additional cost.
There is outdoor seating overlooking the dams and bushland in which to enjoy the warmer months and also a bbq on site.
The owners Blaise and Jacqui’ have a separate house on the property, where there is a fenced in ground solar heated pool and a sauna that can be arranged for use. They are also available if you want any help or advise on your holiday.
