Stolen-Musical

As proven, we have successfully presented acclaimed drama performances in the past, and this year we aim to be even better. Place of Joy Church will present another entertaining, meaningful and realistic musical drama performance casted by our very own church members and our very own children of God (Joy-kids). Within context to the Christmas theme, this celebration will allow us to obtain a meaningful outlook of this very special time of the year, the birth of Christ.

The main theme that we have chosen this year is “Hope”, which is simply reflected in the message of the musical drama performance. The drama itself is about a 10 year old girl overwhelmed with problems who wishes to escape from her hopeless situation, where her parents are in the brink of undergoing a divorce. After reading an inscription on a snow globe, she is instantly whisked into a magical land of called “Snowville”. There, she began her quest together with the people of Snowville to retrieve the hope and joy of Christmas, stolen by the tyrannical monster Grinch. Through her journey, she began to learn of faith & hope in her parent’s marriage, in herself, and most importantly in Christ.

With our very own original scripts, songs, and unique casts, we will bring together a musical drama & performance presented creatively by our collaborated production. The message of our story will allow our audience to convey their imagination and deliver the importance of “hope” in our very own lives.
