Stitches of Brunswick offer sewing classes through several Melbourne north-side community centres. We are inclusive, queer-friendly, and open to all people who want to learn sewing skills! We focus on teaching practical sewing skills using recycled and ethical materials wherever possible..

To get the most out of your class, bringing your own machine is recommended. However, most of our classes have limited machines available. Enrolment is necessary if you wish to use one of our machines.

Classes vary in cost, from free to around $30 per 1-day course. For more details on cost, facilities, and classes please check our activity feed, and the hosting community centre.

Stitches of Brunswick comprised of organisational director Laura, and instructor Rachel. Rachel is a Brunswick based dressmaker with 20 years experience from wedding gowns and millinery to swimwear and mens' suits.

Laura is a Sustainability Activist with a passion for zero waste and the circular economy.
