Stellar Gymsports

Stellar Gymsports was founded by Owner/Head Coach Lorraine Fisher in January 2008. Lorraine has forty years experience in coaching, judging and administration in the sport of Women's Artistic Gymnastics in Perth, Western Australia (WA).

Lorraine and her team of high quality coaches are dedicated to providing top gymnastics programs in Women's Artistic Gymnastics (Girls) and Kindy Gym (Girls & Boys) so that all gymnasts can develop to their full potential.

Despite being small in size in comparison to other gymnastics clubs in WA, Stellar's successful approach has seen them become a reputable gymnastics club in this state and a Feeder Club to the Western Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS) Womens Gymnastics Program.

Stellar provides fun, safe, progressive classes for all gymnasts in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

-------BEGINNER GIRLS-------
Our Beginner Girls Gymnastics program is fun, safe and challenging. Overseen by accredited coaches, it is the GYMNASTICS AUSTRALIA LAUNCH PAD program, incorporating the fundamentals of movement and gymnastics.

Our gymnasts are coached through progressive skills on the four Olympic gymnastics events (Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam & Floor Exercise). Trampoline and tumbling skills are also used as training exercises for skill learning.
Our program is designed to improve strength, flexibility, coordination, overall body awareness and self-confidence.

Our gymnasts have the opportunity to achieve gymnastics skills to the best of their ability in classes made up of small groups with their own coach (coach to gymnast ratio is 1:8).

Our classes include an aerobic warm-up, stretching warm-up, gymnastics skill development on all the apparatus and a fun cool-down activity.

ALL GYMNASTS GET NOTICED AT STELLAR. They are continually being assessed and when they are ready to move up to the next level the Head Coach will discuss this with the gymnast's parents or guardians.

------GIRLS COMPETITION LEVELS------
Stellar Gymsports is proud to have one of the top Girls Competition Gymnastics programs in WA. Our girls compete in competitions on the Gymnastics WA calendar at the State Gymnastics Centre in Leederville throughout the year.

State Team Members. State Champions. Sub-Junior International Gymnasts. We have helped develop gymnasts through their levels to reach their full potential.

------KINDY GYM FOR GIRLS & BOYS-------
Our Kindy Gym program is a parent and child program that develops the whole child (social, emotional, physical and cognitive development) in a fun and safe environment.

Our classes are designed for girls and boys aged 2-4 years.

Our classes are based on fun, new themes each week.

Together the parent and child experience a range of activities, songs, games and movement skills, with an emphasis on basic movement and gymnastics skills.
