As a young child, I became aware that I interacted with the world differently. I had “the sight” as my Dad put it. There was little understanding about how it worked or what it meant.

I grew up in a Christian household, learnt about religion, where spirituality lived. I was to talk to God, praying was fine, but don’t expect a direct answer, look for signs and angels are just in the bible, you weirdo. I learnt to dial down the psychic switch and developed camouflage, so I could function in the world.

My desire to learn, understand, create and teach a new way of living as a whole person, not as separate parts, was born at this time. However first, I needed to learn how to navigate what I observed life to be. I went straight into the physical and intellectual ways of living, feeling disconnected from my emotions and my true self.

So into adulthood I trooped, I’d identified with my job and study, became a wife and mother. I was blessed; I’d ticked the cultural boxes successfully but that feeling of wholeness wasn’t there. On the surface, it looked good, but underneath I was confused, unhappy, depressed. I’d lost sight of what I’d come here to do.

A turning point, otherwise known as a healing crisis, arrived via mental health. I sought help, because quiet frankly I had nothing to lose, I couldn’t live that way anymore, it felt dead, lifeless. It didn’t work, growth was required. In those moments I reconnected with my spiritual self, my intuition reared its head and my quest for responsible healing was on. I needed to heal myself; it drove me forward and changed my life.

My desire to learn and teach this new way called to me, I could feel it. My purpose was back, I had to trust this new spiritual awareness and myself. I had to live it, every step along the way, learning, growing, grounding it in. It had to be real, experienced, otherwise it was just intellectual waffle.

One day, when I was ready, the Transference healing energy called to me. I jumped in the car and turned up at this shop I’d never seen before, I went in and sat in the energy. For the first time, in a long time, I felt the peace I’d experienced as a young child. I felt whole and loved for myself, I booked in for a healing session ………………………….

And I had finally come home.
