Doggy day care

Your dog will spend the day in our wonderful doggy paradise. I boast that I have the largest doggy loungeroom in Adelaide! (look at my photos). So if your dog wants to have a rest on the doggy couch they can. Or if they are more active they can romp around our large backyard with lots of interesting (but safe) nooks and crannies to explore. We also have a doggy paddle pool to cool off after all the running around and a sandpit which is very popular. I provide constructive play and encourage positive socialisation between the dogs. I have a separate fenced section in the yard in case some dogs just want to do their own thing. Doggy day care reduces negative behaviours like barking, chewing and digging and you get to take home a tired and happy dog that means you all get a good night’s rest. All bedding and a few treats are provided. Dogs also have access to a fresh water bubbler to make sure they stay hydrated and healthy.

Dog walking, home visits etc.

I can also take your dog out for a walk (with or without obedience training included) or to your local fully enclosed dog park if they require extra exercise or socialisation. I am also happy to help with other dog or cat related needs by negotiation, such as vet visits or home visits for feeding etc.

The team

Your dog will be spending their day with three beautiful and well behaved dogs. Flacco is a 10 year old Maltese who is partially blind and partially deaf and just loves to sun himself or cuddle. Kent is a (desexed) 2 ½ year old Australian Cattle dog who is level 5 dog obedience trained and who likes tug of war and balls. He is great with other dogs and is a wonderful role model. Milly is an 8 month old Australian Cattle dog. She has only been with us for 2 months but has already reached level 3 dog obedience. She loves play and lap cuddles. I have had dogs my whole life and they are my passion. I will soon begin animal studies and hope to own a high quality boarding kennel/refuge sometime in the future. I understand dogs and love spending time with them.

I have many doggy owners who can vouch for my dog handling skills and my genuine love of dogs, including a registered breeder with over 20 years of professional dog breeding/handling/showing experience. I am happy to give names and numbers upon request. And of course any inspection of our doggy paradise is most welcome.

Fees

Doggy day care/play group - $25per day

Overnight boarding - $30er day (you supply food so your fur baby doesn’t get an upset tummy)

Dog walking/dog park $15 (local travel included) 40 mins exercise

Pick-up and drop off for day care- $6 (for most areas local to South Plympton)

Other services – by negotiation
