GET TO KNOW ME ...
My name is Stacey, I'm 23 years old and I am a fully qualified Fitness Instructor & Personal Trainer. Fitness has always been a major part of my life; it's my passion and so I decided to make a career out of doing something I love.
I specialise in cardio, strength & core training and boxing for fitness.
When I was 11 I got really sick with an illness called Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, which is a condition that affects my heart and blood pressure. I was practically bed ridden on and off up until a couple of years ago, but I went out and I completed my Certificate III in Fitness in 2011, then went on to complete my Certificate IV in Fitness in 2012 and completed my Diploma in Fitness in 2013.
I have been working in the fitness industry since 2011 and I have loved every minute of it. I was told that it was something that I would never achieve, yet here I am today continuing to move forward against all odds.
As I said, fitness is a major part of my life, I play basketball and have done so for about 10 years, I also play netball, ride motorbikes and I love working out. During my school years when I could compete I always did well at athletics and cross country, usually making it to zone and occasionally state for long distance running.
I love motivating people and helping people to reach their goals. What I hope to get out of my personal training business is lots of happy clients :) I want to support them with anything they are striving to achieve.
I want everyone to know that anything is possible and you can achieve anything you set your mind too. When I got sick I was told that being in the fitness industry was going to be a very hard goal to achieve, now I'm working in the industry I love and never giving up. Even when I have bad days, I just keep pushing. There is always hope and I aim to pass this hope onto others and show them that anything is possible, so keep on keeping on!!
I would just like to say a big thank you to Justine & David Boscaglia for pointing me in the right direction & their on going support.
