St Virgil's College

St Virgil’s holds a prominent position in the Tasmanian education environment. The College offers a comprehensive, holistic education which is talilored to the needs of boys.

We are dedicated to Saint Virgil, a gifted and extraordinary man whose qualities of holiness, scientific learning, authentic leadership and faithfulness sets a fine example for the students who pass through the gates of the College.

The College takes its motivation from the teachings of Jesus of the Gospels and the example of Blessed Edmund Rice. The College's values of community, justice and respect inform teaching and learning and the Colllege's commitment to social justice and service. St Virgil’s College has educated thousands of boys who have gone on to make significant contributions locally, nationally and internationally, using their talents, nurtured and developed within the College.
