St Jeromes Parents and Friends

People hear the words 'P & F' and they immediately run away for the fear they may be stuffed into the staff room and forced to count raffles tickets! We have heard all sorts of excuses why people do not want to be involved: "I've got to take my dog to the vet because my cat ate it's ear", "Sorry, got to go and watch Brooke and Ridge get married for the 57th time on the Bold and the Beautiful", "Need to go to Bunnings and buy an umbrella"......
We will let you in on a little secret: we are not scary at all :) We are ordinary parents who work, take our kids to after school sports, swimming, juggle like crazy to cook dinner while trying to not to get pasta sauce on our kids homework while we are helping them! We like to catch up with our friends for coffee while our washing sits in the basket for the 4th day in a row and and our floors are covered in yesterdays breakfast crumbs. We are normal mums and dads like you, and we all have ONE thing in common - we love our kids to death and want the very best for them. We would do anything to help them achieve their very best. One thing that parents tend to forget about the P & F is that we do not sit around and gossip (okay....maybe about the car park....). We work like crazy in the school, organising events, raffles, quiz nights, morning teas to RAISE MONEY which will benefit our school and in turn our gorgeous precious children. The amount of money that the P & F has raised in the past and what it has bought for our children is crazy awesome. This is what we are about - we work to give back to our children. So please, if we ask for a hand, PLEASE help! Anything, even if you are the best stamp likerer in Perth or you have a secret love for stapling raffle tickets into bunches of three - WE WANT YOU!
