Springsure Country Golf Club Inc.

The Springsure Country Golf Club Inc. was established in the 1930’s. The exact date is not known.

Over the years, the membership has grown, the amenities have been upgraded and the course has been improved immensely. The Club has grown to what it is today by the dedication and hard work of its members.

The Club has a current membership of about 50 with most of these golfers playing on a regular basis.
The course has 9 greens and 25 tees (mens and ladies).

It is a particularly scenic bush course being at the base of Mount Zamia and the views teeing off on Number 1 of an early morning are spectacular; visitors to the club often
remark on how unique it is. Plentiful bird life, kangaroos and wallabies are also a feature.
The course shares a boundary with the Mount Zamia National Park.

The greens on the Springsure Golf Club course are the best in Central Queensland.

Club Open is a well anticipated date on the Central Highlands golfing calendar.

Other improvements at the course include: Large clubhouse featuring bar area, cold room, commercial kitchen facility and seating for 100 people with ample parking for same: we have catered for up to 350 previously.

We also have a Fully fenced and shaded children’s play area, Covered Barbeque area and a 18m x 8m x 4m Steel machinery and club storage shed.

There is a very active junior competition and the visiting golf professional from the Emerald Golf Club undertakes coaching on a regular basis.
