Welcome to Spring Grove, so named because of the abundance of naturally occurring springs throughout the property.
Spring Grove is a 200 acre working farm that produces beef cattle, sheep and hay. Once a dairy farm, milking ceased in the 1970s and the unused dairy was abandoned until 1998, when work commenced on revitalising the derelict building. In 2010, an extra two bedrooms and a large lounge room were added, creating a four bedroom home that sleeps ten.
Spring Grove Dairy is surrounded by lush paddocks dotted with the farm’s livestock. There are also resident chooks to feed which provide fresh eggs. Wombats also frequent the area and there is an abundance of birdlife. Take a walk down past the hall and over the suspension bridge where you might catch a glimpse of a platypus, more common at dusk.
