Sporties Heavenly Handmade Market

As sisters who have been doing markets together for quite a while now with our handmade products, we have always wanted an opportunity to promote more handmade or home based businesses within our local community. There are so many talented people out there they deserve to have a local showcase!!! And so the idea was born to start a market in our local area, I live in Wattle Grove and my sister has recently moved to Voyager Point after living in Wattle Grove for 15 years. We searched and searched for the perfect location (and got knocked back by quite a few) until we decided that we would give Sporties a try. As a community meeting place you can't get any better, and they were as excited as us to host this wonderful community event each month. So we will now be holding our handmade market on the first Saturday of each month, in the carpark at Moorebank Sports Club (weather permitting) and I hope many many people can come along and check it out in support of talented local crafts people and small home business owners.
